At Shoreline Children’s Dentistry, we take pride in providing a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for our patients and their parents! We know that dentistry during childhood can set the stage for lifelong good habits, and we want to help your child see visits to the dentist as something to look forward to.
Each member of our team is a dedicated professional, and we’d like to take a moment to introduce ourselves.
Dr. Kate Glazer, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Kate Glazer, affectionately known as Dr. Kate by her patients, grew up on the shoreline of Connecticut and is thrilled to be practicing here, in the area she considers home. Dr. Kate earned her Bachelors degree from Tufts University, then went on to receive her DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine (where she also happened to meet her husband, Jason).
Feeling the call to continue her education, she then attended Ohio State University, and this was where she received her specialized training in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kate knew from a young age that she wanted to become a dentist. The practice that she went to as a child was a fun place to be, and the dentists she had as a child inspired her to go into the same profession. Perhaps one day, some of her young patients will go on to become dentists themselves!
For Dr. Kate, the best thing about her job is getting to know her patients and watching them grow and blossom before her eyes. It’s especially exciting when a child who was once nervous or apprehensive makes the transformation into a happy and confident patient.
Dr. Kate maintains memberships in several professional organizations. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She also holds memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), and the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists (CSPD).
Dr. Kate and her husband live in Madison with their two beautiful boys, Joshua and Andrew.

She is particularly wonderful at helping our patients feel calm and safe, even through the most difficult dental procedures. Darlene, Dental Hygienist
Darlene graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelors in Science of Dental Hygiene, and now holds a position there as a teacher of clinical hygiene. Whether it is in our office or at the University, Darlene has a passion for teaching people how to best care for their oral health. She lives on the shoreline with her large crew of four kids, a dog named Scout, and an African Spur Thigh Sulcata tortoise named Torteece. Darlene enjoys kayaking, fishing, and hiking with her family, and if there is any free time left in her day you will find her sewing, crafting, cooking or baking!
Chloe, Dental Hygienist
Chloe graduated from the University of New Haven and began her career as a Dental Hygienist in 2019. From an early age she has always worked with children, which carried on through her college years, so upon graduating the path of pediatrics was a natural choice. Chloe strongly believes it's important to make sure the dental experience is positive and fun for kids so they don't feel afraid or intimidated when visiting our office. When she is not tending to her patients, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking and hanging out with her cats Boo and Shilo.
Nicole, Dental Hygienist
Nicole has been a pediatric Dental Hygienist for 15 years. She is passionate about helping children achieve healthy, happy smiles from an early age. She excels at creating a calm and welcoming environment for young patients, ensuring their visits are both positive and educational. Nicole has two children, Brynn and Miles. They can be found at the beach or off exploring new adventures. Nicole also enjoys tennis, hiking, cooking and reading.
